Neftaly, also known as the Southern Africa Youth Project, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth across Southern Africa. Established in 2005 by Neftaly Malatjie, Neftaly operates with the mission of reducing youth unemployment and poverty by providing skills development, education, and economic opportunities. The organization has a strong presence in South Africa, with regional offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Pietermaritzburg, and Diepsloot.
Neftaly offers accredited and non-accredited short courses in areas such as digital literacy, business administration, entrepreneurship, project management, hospitality, and customer service. These programs are designed to meet the needs of both job seekers and aspiring entrepreneurs.
The organization supports youth-owned startups by offering business mentorship, incubation services, market access, and small grants, teaching young entrepreneurs how to write business plans, manage finances, and scale their ventures.

In 2020, the organization was awarded the MTN Award for Social Change for its outstanding monitoring and evaluation efforts, particularly during the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
