The focus for this month was on laying the foundation for impactful programs in digital education, community empowerment, and sustainable infrastructure. This report highlights key achievements, financial contributions, challenges, and the roadmap for the year ahead.
Strategic Priorities
The partnership continues to focus on four main pillars:
- Education & Digital Skills – equipping youth with critical skills for the digital economy.
- Community Empowerment – fostering entrepreneurship, financial literacy, and social well-being.
- Infrastructure & Sustainability – implementing renewable energy, ICT access, and water projects.
- Regional Development Alignment – ensuring programs contribute to DBSA’s Southern African development objectives.

- Education & Skills Development
- Trained 2,500 young people in cybersecurity, AI, and digital entrepreneurship.
- Enrolled 12,500 active learners in the Neftaly Virtual Academy.
- Awarded 750 scholarships to students from underserved communities.

- Supported 900 small businesses, with 58% led by women and youth.
